Youth Dialogue – Open Conversation

We created the Youth Dialogue event, a space where young people can come together in a relaxed setting to discuss the issues that matter most. Over coffee and open conversation, participants engage in honest, thought-provoking discussions on pressing social, political, and environmental topics.

This informal yet structured gathering allows young people to express their opinions, challenge ideas, and explore different perspectives in a respectful and constructive way. Whether it’s the future of European democracy, climate change policies, digital rights, or social inclusion, every topic is chosen to reflect current challenges that impact youth today.

Creating a Space for Meaningful Dialogue
The event is designed to break down barriers and encourage active citizenship. Instead of traditional lectures or debates, the Youth Dialogue is based on small-group discussions where everyone’s voice is heard. The format includes:

Thematic Tables – Each table focuses on a different topic, allowing participants to choose the conversation that interests them most.
Rotating Moderators – Youth facilitators help guide discussions, ensuring an inclusive and respectful exchange of ideas.
Interactive Activities – Short case studies, real-world scenarios, and question prompts help spark deeper conversations.
Through this structure, participants not only share their own experiences but also listen to diverse viewpoints, building critical thinking and empathy.

Why These Conversations Matter
In an age of social media polarization and misinformation, it is more important than ever to create spaces for face-to-face dialogue where young people can discuss complex issues beyond headlines and echo chambers. The Youth Dialogue is not just about talking—it’s about understanding different perspectives, finding common ground, and inspiring action.

By the end of each session, participants leave with:

✅ A deeper understanding of key social issues
✅ Improved debate and communication skills
✅ A sense of empowerment to create change in their communities

What’s Next?
With the success of this initiative, EU Aktivisten plans to expand the Youth Dialogue series, each next one focusing on new and emerging topics. We aim to involve experts, activists, and policymakers to bridge the gap between youth and decision-makers.
